Gentle Fluid Movement & Immunity
Modality Overview
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle, specialized massage technique that uses light, rhythmic strokes to encourage the natural drainage of lymph fluid throughout the body. Unlike deep muscle manipulation, MLD uses exceptionally light touch that works directly with the superficial lymphatic vessels beneath the skin.
As a certified MLD practitioner, Jen applies deliberate, directional stretching of the skin to stimulate stagnant lymph flow. This therapy is highly effective for reducing swelling (edema), accelerating recovery following surgery or injury, calming inflammation, and giving your immune defenses a natural boost.
